These speakers have a built-in transformer which makes them suitable for 70/100V Line systems. This type of speaker is generally used in commercial applications or large scale domestic installations where a number of speakers are required to cover a big area. A 70/100V Line system facilitates daisy chaining multiple speakers together over long distances. Something which can't be achieved with traditional low impedance systems. These speakers require specialist 70/100V line amplification.
