Sound enclosures encase open-backed custom install speakers to reduce sound transmission to adjacent rooms and improve acoustic performance. In some cases they also provide a fire barrier (however this is not always the case so please contact us if in doubt).
Many of these enclosures are designed for installation during pre-wiring in new constructions, and cannot be retrofitted in existing ceilings and walls. For a retrofit solution we recommend fabric fire and acoustic hoods which can be installed through the speaker cut-out.
