This Lithe Audio premium speaker fire hood maintains the fire protection integrity of ceilings to comply with UK Building Regulations. It also features an acoustic rating to help reduce sound transfer to adjacent spaces, and like all hoods, also has the added benefit of improving the performance of open-backed custom install speakers.

This fire hood is suitable for 6-7" driver speakers with a cutout diameter of 190-240mm.

      Ceiling speakers

      Installation easy enough and sound is pretty good. Used daily - bluetooth radio from my phone to speakers. Dropped one star as I have two speakers and cant decide whether to have stereo or mono. Unfortunately, the “switch” on the speaker to switch between stereo/mono is on top of the unit meaning you have to remove the unit from the ceiling to switch it. Would give 5 stars if the switch was accessible from the ceiling cover grill.
