This means that in typical stud-wall and ceiling structures, you are guaranteed excellent audio quality and versatility, as well as a superior level of sound isolation between rooms and floors.

 

And it is not only audio that can be controlled for optimum results. New trimless bezels and super-discreet, paintable magnetic grilles allow the latest CP range to blend almost invisibly with walls and ceilings for a near-seamless integration with decor. Once easily and securely installed via Monitor Audio’s patented tri-grip II mounting, and brand new Patented Quik-Link speaker cable connector for quicker installation, high reliability is assured by CP’s airtight enclosure design, which protects each precision-engineered driver system against the damaging ingress of dust and dirt.

 

The Controlled Performance range comprises 4 new speaker models both in wall and in ceiling: The Creator Series W2M-CP is the single in wall model with a controlled performance design, a medium sized in wall speaker in the 200 Series, perfect for home cinema or areas where music sound quality is more important. There are 3 different in ceiling models within the Controlled Perfomance range firstly the Creator Series C2M-CP, this is the in ceiling equivalent to the in wall model featuring a 7 inch driver, next up is the Creator Series C2L-CP, same class as the previous but with a 9 inch driver for enhanced bass. Finally the best in ceiling speaker with in the Controlled Performance class is the Creator Series C3L-CP (IDC II)  for high performance home cinema and music listening. 

 

As a Controlled Performance (CP) model, it is fitted with a fully sealed back box that provides an ideal air load for the drivers, optimising mid-range and bass performance while maintaining sonic consistency regardless of interior wall construction. These rigid, mineral filled enclosures reduce the sound from the back of the cabinet by around 30 dB. This range guarantees excellent audio quality and versatility, for superior level of sound isolation between rooms and floors.
